Drone testing and pharmaceutical delivery
The Brief
As part of our support in the management and execution of ECOGENE-21’s various innovation initiatives, Innovitech was commissioned to work on the “Paradigm shift in the conduct of clinical trials” project in collaboration with ARA Robotique and the Center of Excellence on Drones (CED).
The aim of this project is to develop the tools and processes needed to facilitate the conduct of virtual or decentralized clinical trials, offering patients living in areas far from major medical centers a more accessible opportunity to participate in clinical trials involving new treatments.

The results
A successful drone test was carried out in collaboration with DELAIR, covering a distance of over 150 km with the DT46. The mission was specifically designed to deliver drugs and collect biological samples for clinical studies.
This pioneering trial opens up new avenues of access to innovative treatments and participation in clinical studies for patients living in isolated regions. The next crucial step will be to seek strategic partners to finalize the development and establish the first medical drone delivery networks in remote areas.
