The brief

At the origin of the CCIAM project, Innovitech led the validation of the opportunity and the feasibility study in collaboration with the NRC, the main actor in the initiative. Innovitech was then commissioned by Excellence Industrielle Saint-Laurent to support the development of the application and strategy for creating the Aerospace Innovation Zone, referred to as the Collaborative Center of Innovation in Aerospace and Mobility. The Aero Zone project is a bold and growth-promoting initiative resulting from an unprecedented mobilization of our industry and the avant-garde technological sectors of Quebec. This mobilization, at a turning point for global aerospace, will take root within the Aero Zone and serve as a springboard for Quebec and Canada emerging from this pandemic.

In the process of executing the business plan, an international benchmarking of collaborative aerospace innovation centers was conducted, analyzing models such as ZAL in Germany, AMRC Sheffield in England, and IRT St-Exupéry in France.
