Lieutenant-General (ret’d) Pelletier is a graduate of the Royal Military College in Mechanical Engineering, and a CF-18 fighter pilot. He has held a number of command positions: 3 Wing Bagotville, Canadian Air Component to NATO’s Operation Unified Protector, 1 Canadian Air Division and Deputy Commander NORAD.
He has had a number of assignments at the operational and strategic level to include: Director of Air Requirements, Director of the U.S. AFCENT Command’s Air Operations Center in Qatar and as the Chief Fighter Capability Program in National Defence Headquarters. Lieutenant-General (ret’d) Pelletier is a graduate of the Canadian Fighter Weapons Instructor Course (FWIC) and a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Air War College where he received a Master of Strategic Studies.
He retired from the CAF in 2023 and is now contributing to his local community as a city councilor, as a volunteer to a number of local organizations and as a senior consultant.
