Innovation posts

At Innovitech, we are committed to fostering creativity in the fields of technological innovation, notably in the health sector. In this spirit, we have joined forces with MEDTEQ+ and Ms. Diane Côté, former CEO of MEDTEQ+, to establish the MEDTEQ+ Diane Côté Scholarship.

This program aims to support the next generation of women leaders by encouraging them to pursue graduate studies in engineering applied to health technologies. The initiative seeks to promote projects with real potential for impact in the health sector.

The goal of the MEDTEQ+ Diane Côté Scholarship

To support the emergence of women leaders and entrepreneurs in a sector that is shaping the future of healthcare.

Valued at $15,000, the MEDTEQ+ Diane Côté Scholarship will be awarded every two years to a female student who has demonstrated entrepreneurial drive throughout her academic journey and aspires to develop a technology in the health field. The recipient will be announced at the MEDTEQ+ Innovation Summit, a flagship event in the health innovation ecosystem, taking place February 4–5 at the Grand Quai in Montreal.

“Supporting women who choose the entrepreneurial path to tackle health challenges means equipping their passion and boldness. It also means accelerating their journey and amplifying their role in delivering innovative solutions. I am therefore immensely proud to launch the MEDTEQ+ Diane Côté Scholarship, which will support the next generation of women by encouraging them to pursue graduate studies in engineering applied to health technologies. Innovation, collaboration, and impact are the cornerstones guiding leaders in this sector. I have long championed these values at Innovitech and especially through my involvement with MEDTEQ+. I am thrilled to join MEDTEQ+ and Innovitech in giving a strong voice to the women stepping up. Let’s dare to innovate in health.”

— Diane Côté, Executive Consultant in Strategy and Innovation, Innovitech

— Annie-Kim Gilbert, President and CEO, MEDTEQ+

“The health sector—like Diane’s inspiring journey—is deeply rooted in Innovitech’s story. We are therefore honored and moved to partner in this initiative to tangibly support the next generation of women innovators. Encouraging women to pursue their ambitions in health technologies is an investment in a future where innovation is carried forward by strong, engaged voices that reflect the society we strive to build. This scholarship is part of our commitment to making a lasting impact in the sector by betting on talent, diversity, and boldness.”
