The mandate:<\/strong>

Amid a major transformation of the health and social services network, the General Directorate of the CISSS de Lanaudi\u00e8re entrusted Innovitech with the mandate to structure, accelerate, and sustain the innovation capacity of Pierre-Le Gardeur Hospital (HPLG). This mandate aligns with the hospital\u2019s extensive expansion and redevelopment project, scheduled through 2026, aimed at better meeting the needs of a growing and aging population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioned by the CISSS de Lanaudi\u00e8re, Innovitech is proud to support the transformation of HPLG into a truly innovative hospital. The initiative is designed to equip the institution with a pragmatic innovation strategy focused on the continuous improvement of care quality, efficiency, and safety.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The initiative, conducted between fall 2024 and spring 2025, was based on a participatory and rigorous approach, including:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • International benchmarking of innovative hospitals;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • Analysis of the regional ecosystem through meetings with innovation partners;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • A self-assessment survey of the executive committee\u2019s innovation capabilities;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • One-on-one interviews with relevant department heads;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Two interdepartmental co-creation workshops;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • A review of innovative solutions and suitable funding sources.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              This process provided a clear picture of both the drivers and barriers to innovation, supported by a comprehensive SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis, from which concrete recommendations were developed.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              At the conclusion of the initiative, Innovitech delivered a strategic report proposing an innovation framework designed to position innovation as both an operational and strategic lever, serving the needs of patients, staff, and strengthening the CISSS de Lanaudi\u00e8re\u2019s position as a key player in Quebec\u2019s healthcare ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
